Georgine Brave is Special Counsel at Antonyan Miranda with over forty years of family law litigation experience. Ms. Brave has handled over 3,000 cases during her career, and is known as one of the most vigorous family law advocates in San Diego. She volunteered as a Judge Pro Tem in the San Diego Superior Court Family Law Division and served as a Settlement Judge. Ms. Brave is a three time nominee for the San Diego Women Who Mean Business Award.

Her talent as a tough adversary and a successful negotiator on family law issues has led her to handle divorces with empathy and compassion. She is skilled at getting to the heart of complicated family law matter, strategizing, executing, and communicating with clients in very clear and understandable fashion. She strives to make the client experience with the legal system easier and less stressful.

Prior to joining Antonyan Miranda Ms. Brave was a partner at Brave, Weber & Mack, APLC, which she founded alone in 1984. Ms. Brave is a New York native, and a graduate of USD School of Law. She is Fluent in French and Spanish and can speak intermediate Japanese.

Ms. Brave is a recipient of the AIDS Foundation Award through the San Diego Volunteer Lawyers Program where she volunteered legal services to HIV+ patients. Since 1994 she has also been a volunteer with the American Cancer Society’s Reach to Recovery programs.
